  3. magnesium stearate;
  4. corn starch;
  5. colloidal silica (anhydrous).

The capsule itself is made from titanium dioxide, gelatin and indigotine.

What is the pharmacological effect of the drug based on?

All means to combat nicotine addiction can be divided into four groups according to the principle of action:

  • nicotine substitutes (this includes Desmoxan);
  • medications that affect the central nervous system, suppressing sensitivity to nicotine;

  • 17 - 20 days: up to 3 capsules per day (no more than once every five hours);

If necessary, it is allowed to repeat the course of treatment after 2-3 months.

List of side effects and contraindications

Desmoxane is a smoking cure that is not recommended for the following pathological conditions:

  1. an allergic reaction to cytisine;
  2. heart attack or stroke;
  3. hypertension, arterial obstruction, arrhythmia and other types of disorders in the work of the cardiovascular system;
  4. diseases of the stomach and duodenum;
  5. pregnancy and lactation;
  6. less than 18 years old and over 65 years old.

It is not recommended to prescribe treatment for yourself or other people with Desmoxan. Before you start taking the drug, you should consult your doctor.
