- DISNEMAR XYLO 1mg / ml aerosol is intended for use in children 10 years of age. It has xylometazoline hydrochloride, which constricts blood vessels of the nasal mucosa and facilitate breathing.
Composition:
The active substance is xylometazoline hydrochloride. 1 ml solution containing 1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride. One aerosol spray Disnemar Xylo 1.0 mg / ml (i.e., 90 microliters) contains 90 micrograms xylometazoline hydrochloride.
Action:
The product has the form of easy-to-use nasal spray. It works on the basis of xylometazoline hydrochloride. With him it is responsible for the narrowing of the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa. As a result, it helps to reduce swelling, which is caused by various factors (eg. Rhinitis, influenza, common cold). Facilitates breathing and relieves discomfort.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to the active components of the preparation
- use in patients after resection of pituitary przezklinowym or after surgical procedures performed with access through the nasal cavity or mouth while exposing the dura mater
- the use of aerosol in children below 10 years of age
Indications: The
preparation should be applied in children from the age of 10 in the case of obstruction of the nasal passages caused by swelling of the mucous membranes and runny nose (accompanying a cold or flu), and the hay fever and inflammation of the paranasal sinuses. Use aerosol during the acute treatment of nasal congestion in children.
How to use:
Apply intranasally. In children over the age of 10 generally recommended to use a dose of 1-2 aerosol spray in each nostril every 10-12 hours (but no more than x 3 / 24h), no longer than 7 days.
