Progesterone globules D4:

What is this medication? PROGESTERONE (proe JES ter one) treats low levels of progesterone in your body. Progesterone helps support your body before and during pregnancy, including preparing and maintaining the health of your uterus. It works by increasing levels of the hormone progesterone in your body.

This medication contains a female hormone called progesterone. Progesterone and other hormones help you become and stay pregnant. This medication is used to increase the level of progesterone in women taking fertility treatments because these treatments tend to decrease progesterone levels.

Does progesterone help with belly fat?

In all these effects note that progesterone does not directly cause weight loss. Instead it reduces the effect of other hormones in the body which are causing the weight gain. Think of it as allowing rather than causing the body to lose weight.

How well does it work? A If you've had a premature birth before, progesterone can decrease your chances of having another one by as much as 35 percent. No other treatment works better.

 What does progesterone do?

The main function of progesterone is to prepare the endometrium (lining of your uterus) for a fertilized egg to implant and grow. If a pregnancy doesn't occur, the endometrium sheds during your menstrual period. If conception occurs, progesterone increases to support the pregnancy.

What is the main function of progesterone?

Progesterone is one of two female sex hormones, the other being estrogen. Its main functions are regulating menstruation and supporting pregnancy in the female body.

What does progesterone actually do?

The progesterone prepares the body for pregnancy in the event that the released egg is fertilised. If the egg is not fertilised, the corpus luteum breaks down, the production of progesterone falls and a new menstrual cycle begins.
