Composition of Phlegamin ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml:

Active substances: ambroxol hydrochloride (Ambroxoli hydrochloridum). 5ml syrup (1 measuring spoon) contains 30mg ambroxol hydrochloride and excipients: liquid sorbitol, crystallizing (70%) (E 420), glycerol (E 422), citric acid monohydrate (E 330), propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218 ), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), liquid raspberry aroma A, purified water.

Action Phlegamin ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml:

Ambroxol hydrochloride - the active substance contained in the medicinal product Flegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml - has expectorant and mucolytic (thinning) effect. The drug increases the amount of mucus in the respiratory tract, while reducing its viscosity, further accelerates its transport in the respiratory tract, thereby syrup facilitates expectoration and relieves coughing.

Application:
The medicinal product Flegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic lung and bronchial diseases - diseases that occur with mucus secretion disorder and hindering its transport.

Additional information:
Store out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains sorbitol (2.25g sorbitol in 5ml syrup), for people with hereditary fructose intolerance, the use of the drug is not recommended. The preparation may have a slightly laxative effect. The drug uses methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoate and propylene glycol - these ingredients can cause an allergic reaction (including late-type reactions).

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in pregnant women, lactating women and children under 2 years of age.

Dosage of Flegamina ambroxolum syrup 0.03g / 5ml:

Take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you or as directed on the leaflet. Use the syrup after a meal. Do not take it immediately before bedtime. Children and adolescents over 12 years of age and adults - for the first 2-3 days of treatment, use 5ml syrup (one measuring spoon; 30mg ambroxol hydrochloride) three times a day, then reduce the frequency of use to 5ml syrup twice a day. Children from 6 to 12 years of age - use 2.5ml syrup (1/2 measuring spoon; 15mg ambroxol hydrochloride) 2-3 times a day. Children from 2 to 6 years of age: administer 1.25ml syrup (1/4 measuring spoon; 7.5mg ambroxol hydrochloride) 3 times a day. Children should not be used without consulting first with their doctor. It is recommended to reduce the dose if the treatment lasts more than 7-14 days.
