• Intesta Tempo is food for special medical purposes. The preparation is used in dietary management, among others: in functional constipation. One serving consists of one sachet of lactitol and one sachet of sodium butyrate.

Intesta Tempo ingredients:

Lactitol, a mixture of fully hydrogenated triglycerides of fatty acids from palm oil, sodium butyrate, natural cranberry flavor, sweetener - acesulfame K. Contains a sweetener (acesulfame K)

Nutritional value in 100g/per serving (one sachet of lactitol and one sachet of sodium butyrate):energy value – 1217kJ (292kcal)/146kJ (35kcal); fat – 56g, including: saturated fatty acids – 56g/1.1g, including: saturated fatty acids – 1.1g; carbohydrates - 85g, including: sugars <0.5g/10g, including: sugars <0.5g; protein <0.5g/<0.5g, salt – 13g/0.32g, sodium butyrate – 5.2g/0.13g.

How Intesta Tempo works:

Food for special medical purposes Intesta Tempo is a preparation for use in dietary management in the case of functional constipation, irritable bowel syndrome with predominance of constipation and in the case of a diet low in fiber and the associated reduced frequency of bowel movements. The composition contains lactitol and sodium butyrate. Lactitol is an osmotic laxative, it supports the proper functioning of the intestines, thus increasing the frequency of bowel movements. Sodium butyrate nourishes the intestinal epithelial cells and provides them with energy, has a positive effect on the functioning of the intestine, while reducing the risk of constipation.

Application:
Food for special medical purposes Intesta Tempo intended for use in medical treatment of functional constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with predominance of constipation, in a diet low in fiber combined with reduced frequency of bowel movements.

Additional information:
Store the product out of the reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The preparation is not suitable for parenteral use. Do not use as the sole source of food. It should not be used in people who do not have the above-mentioned diseases, health disorders or who have no medical indications for its use. There are no data on the use of the product in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the preparation.

How to use Intesta Tempo sachets:

Use under medical supervision. Adults: use two sachets - one sachet with lactitol and one sachet with MSB (microcoated sodium butyrate). Use to obtain the desired effect of increasing the frequency of bowel movements. The contents of the sachets can be taken directly into the mouth or mixed with thick food, e.g. yogurt.
