Action:
butyric acid is the basic energy of the gastrointestinal epithelium. Intesta used sodium butyrate, i.e. butyric acid sodium salt, and a unique triglyceride matrix, i.e. a patented encapsulation and microgranulation technique, was used here. In this way, sodium butyrate is released throughout the entire length of the small and large intestine. This means that sodium butyrate can interact exactly where it is needed, i.e. support regeneration of the gastrointestinal mucosa and support the proper intestinal microflora. The product is characterized by a high degree of safety, moreover, it does not cause adverse reactions.
Application:
Dietary food for special medical purposes Intesta intended for use in the dietary management of intestinal dysfunction (irritable bowel syndrome), inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa (eg diarrhea of various etiologies, inflammatory bowel diseases), as well as intestinal flora disorders , in case of intestinal infections and in diarrheal states (eg after antibiotic therapy), short-chain organic acids shortages. For use in the case of people who have suffered from anticancer treatment (eg colitis inflammation).
Additional information:
Not suitable for parenteral use as well as the only source of food. Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not use in women during pregnancy and lactation.

Use under medical supervision. For oral use. In adults: it is recommended to take one capsule twice a day (morning and evening) while eating. The treatment should last at least three months. For children over 7 years of age: it is recommended to take one capsule a day while eating, preferably in the evening. The treatment should last at least 6 weeks. In individual cases, the doctor may recommend the use of the preparation in an increased amount. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
