OptiLube Active Gel with Lidocaine is a catheterization gel containing an anesthetic substance - lidocaine (2%) and an antibacterial substance - chlorhexidine gluconate (0.25%). The product is contained in a ready-to-use pre-filled syringe (6 ml).

Composition of OptiLube Active Gel with Lidocaine:

Per 100g: Purified Water - 68.00g, Lidocaine Hydrochloride - 2,000g, Chlorhexidine Gluconate - 0.250g, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate - 0.060g, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate - 0.025g, Hydroxethylcellulose Propylene Glycol.

Operation of OptiLube Active Gel with Lidocaine:

Medical device OptiLube Active Gel with Lidocaine is a sterile lubricant that provides optimal lubrication and has local anesthetic effect (up to 30 minutes). In addition, the preparation has antiseptic properties, thus reducing the risk of infection. The preparation contains lidocaine and chlorhexidine gluconate. It is used, among others in catheterization and the placement of devices in body cavities. The gel is enclosed in a ready-to-use pre-filled syringe that allows the use of the gold standard of the aseptic non-contact technique (ANTT).

Application:
Medical device OptiLube Active Gel with lidocaine intended for use in ureteral catheterization and suprapubic catheterization, in cystoscopy, in sterile insertion of elements via the intrauterine route, in gynecological examinations and rectal examinations. Can be used in women and men.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. The product does not contain latex. Hypoallergenic formula. Disposable syringe.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the product.

How to use OptiLube Active Gel with Lidocaine:

Use as intended, after inserting the gel, wait about 3-5 minutes before inserting the catheter.
