One tablet contains: 100 mg furazidin (Furazidinum). Other ingredients: mannitol; lactose monohydrate; talc; colloidal anhydrous silica; sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A); magnesium stearate.

Furazidine, which is the active substance used in the drug DaFurag Max 100mg, is an ingredient also known as furagine. Each tablet contains up to 100mg of furazidine, a nitrofuran derivative. The drug DaFurag Max is indicated for the treatment of lower urinary tract infections, because it inhibits the growth of bacteria, which is the main cause of these infections.

The medicinal product DaFurag Max 100mg is indicated for the treatment of lower urinary tract infection in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.

DaFurag Max 100mg x 30 tablets, urinary tract infections, furazidine Additional information: The product DaFurag Max should be kept out of reach of children at room temperature. Contains lactose. Not recommended during breast-feeding.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug DaFurag Max or to nitrofuran derivatives. Do not use in the first trimester of pregnancy, as well as during full-term pregnancy (from week 38) and childbirth, as there is a risk of neonatal haemolytic anemia. Do not use in children and adolescents under 15 years of age. Do not use in cases of renal failure (creatinine clearance below 60ml / min or elevated serum creatinine). Do not use in the case of diagnosed polyneuropathy (e.g. diabetic) and in the case of deficiency of gluco-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.

DaFurag Max Side effects:
Side effects may occur while using this medicine. Most often: nausea, headache, excessive gas donation. Other side effects: blood and lymphatic system disorders: cyanosis due to methaemoglobinaemia; in people with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, furagin use may lead to megaloblastic or hemolytic anemia. Nervous system disorders: dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, peripheral neuropathy, also with acute or irreversible course (its predisposition is particularly predisposing: renal failure, anemia, diabetes, electrolyte disorders, vitamin B deficiency). Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: acute, subacute and chronic hypersensitivity reactions to nitrofuran derivatives. Chronic reactions have occurred in patients taking furagine for more than 6 months. Chronic pulmonary reactions (including pulmonary fibrosis and disseminated interstitial pneumonia) may occur especially in patients

Gastrointestinal disorders: constipation, diarrhea, dyspeptic symptoms, abdominal pain, vomiting, salivary gland inflammation, pancreatitis, pseudomembranous enteritis. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: alopecia, exfoliative dermatitis, erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome. General disorders and administration site conditions: fever, chills, malaise, infection with microorganisms resistant to nitrofuran derivatives, most often with Pseudomonas or Candida. Immune system disorders: pruritus, urticaria, anaphylaxis, angioedema, rash. Hepatobiliary disorders: signs of drug-induced hepatitis, cholestatic jaundice, hepatic parenchyma necrosis. DaFurag Max Dosage:
It is recommended to dose according to the doctor's instructions or according to the directions on the leaflet. Tablets are recommended to be taken with food, which contains protein. For adults and adolescents over 15 years of age, the following dosage regimen is recommended: the first day - one tablet 4 times a day, the next days - one tablet 3 times a day. Treatment usually lasts 7-8 days. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 10-15 days.
