What is Magnesium-Diasporal® 4 mmol and what is it used for?
Magnesium-Diasporal® 4 mmol is a mineral preparation.
Magnesium-Diasporal® 4 mmol is used for: Magnesium deficiency:

Magnesium-Diasporal® 4 mmol must not be used:
in cases of severe bradycardia (slowed heart activity), myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness) and AV block (interruption of the conduction system in the heart).
Particular caution is required when using Magnesium-Diasporal® 4 mmol
in the event of severe renal excretion disorders. A dose adjustment to the degree of excretory disorder is necessary.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
There is no evidence of a risk of malformations when administering magnesium salts during pregnancy. However, documented human experience with use in early pregnancy is limited. If magnesium salts are administered shortly before birth, the newborn should be monitored for signs of toxicity (neurological depression with respiratory depression, muscle weakness, loss of reflexes) during the first 24 to 48 hours of life. The administration of aminoglycoside antibiotics should be avoided during this period as there is evidence of interactions.
