ACID Balance is a product containing two natural compounds neutralizing hydrochloric acid: calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. These are alkaline salts that, when reacting with HCl, cause its transformation into water and mineral salts.

Indications

ACID Balance is used
- for regurgitation of food -
during and after vomiting
- during diarrhea
- in patients treated with preparations lowering stomach pH

Ingredients

Calcium carbonate has a fast and strong neutralizing effect, while magnesium carbonate enhances the effect of calcium carbonate. Both salts support the protection of the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum from the damaging effects of gastric juice. They are commonly used in individuals who experience increased hydrochloric acid content in gastric juice, which is accompanied by adverse symptoms and disorders in the functioning of the digestive system.
The remaining ingredients of the product - starch and inulin - have a supporting effect on the protection of the gastric mucosa, and green tea extract (a natural antioxidant) helps reduce the harmful effects of free radicals.

Application

It is recommended to administer the following amounts of the product 30 minutes before a meal depending on the animal's body weight
Cats and small and medium-sized dogs up to 20 kg bw - 1 capsule x 2 daily
Large dogs 20-40 kg bw - 1 capsule x 2 daily
Giant dogs >40 kg bw - 2 capsules x 2 daily
If necessary, you can open the capsule and mix its contents with your favorite treat. If the feeding method is based only on dry food, you should slightly moisten the food so that the contents of the capsule adhere to the food and are consumed by the animal.
