algovir ® children relies on the same principle of action as algovir ® effect, the cold spray for adults - namely on the properties of the long-chain active ingredient molecule Carragelose ® . The natural active ingredient is obtained from red algae and ensures that viruses that have penetrated the nose are caught in it. The Carragelose ® covers the nasal mucosa like a protective film and acts as a physical barrier: the cold viruses get caught in the structure of the Carragelose ® and can no longer penetrate the cells of the nasal mucosa.
