Stoperan
Fast is an antidiarrheal medication in the form of lyophilized oral tablets containing 2 mg of loperamide hydrochloride. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea. It is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Fast reduces excessive intestinal peristalsis, prolongs intestinal transit time, and increases the absorption of water and electrolytes. It effectively relieves diarrhea, usually within a few hours. The tablet dissolves quickly in the mouth – no water is required.
Indications:
When is Stoperan Fast used? Stoperan Fast is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea when effective causal treatment is not possible. The drug is indicated for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Dosage
Adults and children aged 8 to 17 years: Acute diarrhea: initial dose of 2 tablets (4 mg) for adults or 1 tablet (2 mg) for children, followed by 1 tablet (2 mg) after each loose bowel movement. Chronic diarrhea: the initial dose is 2 tablets (4 mg) per day for adults and 1 tablet (2 mg) per day for children. The daily dose should be adjusted until 1 to 2 normal stools per day, which is usually achieved with a maintenance dose of 1 to 6 tablets (2 mg to 12 mg) per day.
The maximum dose for acute and chronic diarrhea is 8 tablets (16 mg) per day for adults. In children, the dose should be adjusted according to body weight (3 tablets/20 kg body weight), keeping in mind that the total daily dose should not exceed 8 tablets.
Children 6 to 7 years of age: Acute diarrhea: 1 tablet (2 mg) after each loose bowel movement. Do not exceed 3 tablets (6 mg) per day.
Chronic diarrhea: 1 tablet (2 mg) after each loose bowel movement. Do not exceed 2 tablets (4 mg) per day.
Method of administration:
Place the Stoperan Fast tablet on the tongue, wait for it to dissolve, and swallow with saliva. The minimum disintegration time is a few seconds. The tablets can be taken without food.
