Levopront contains the active substance levodropropizine, which has antitussive and antibronchospasm properties. Indications: Levopront
is
indicated for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive (dry) cough. Much data indicates that this medicine is effective in suppressing coughs of various origins, such as cough associated with lung cancer, cough associated with upper and lower respiratory tract infections, and whooping cough. Levopront is indicated for use in adults and children weighing more than 30 kg. If you do not feel better or your condition worsens after 7 days, consult a doctor. Always
use
this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use Levopront for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor. Adults and children weighing more than 30 kg: 1 tablet (equivalent to 60 mg) 3 times daily. Levopront should be
taken
orally, 3 times daily, at least 6 hours apart. Swallow the tablet whole with water, if necessary. It is recommended to take the tablet between meals, on an empty stomach. Do not use in children who cannot swallow tablets. Treatment should be continued until the cough subsides or as directed by a doctor. In any case, if the cough persists after 7 days of treatment, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Remember that a cough is a symptom of a disease, and the underlying disease should be diagnosed and treated.
