BlephaCura® Heat Gel Mask and BlephaCura® Lipsomal Suspension complement each other perfectly when it comes to cleaning and caring for the edge of the lid. BlephaCura® Heat Gel Mask can be used for heating and cooling.

To warm up, place the mask in water at about 45 degrees for about 6 minutes (do not use boiling water).

Place the mask in the fridge for 60 minutes or more to chill, or in the freezer for 15 minutes for quick chilling.

1. It is recommended to use the BlephaCura® Heat Gel Mask once or twice a day (before putting on the contact lenses!), eg once in the morning and once in the evening.
2. Heat the BlephaCura® Heat Gel Mask in a warm water bath (approx. 45 degrees).
3. Place a moistened compress/cotton pad between the facial skin/eyelid and the BlephaCura® heat gel mask to avoid direct skin contact.
4. Place the heated BlephaCura® heat gel mask on the closed eyelids for approx. 5-10 minutes and fix it with the rubber band if necessary.
5. Then perform a gentle massage of the lid edges.
6. Finally, clean the eyelids with a lint-free cotton pad soaked in a suitable cleaning suspension, ideally without surfactants (e.g. BlephaCura® liposomal suspension).
