Aerosol Aleric Spray is a medicinal product containing mometasone furoate. The drug is indicated for adults (over 18 years of age) to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis diagnosed by a doctor.

Composition of Aleric Spray aerosol:

Active substance: Mometasone furoate (Mometasoni furoas). Each dose contains 50 mcg of mometasone furoate in the form of mometasone furoate monohydrate and excipients: benzalkonium chloride, solution, glycerol, polysorbate 80, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium carmellose, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, purified water.

Operation of Aleric Spray aerosol:

The drug contains mometasone furoate as an active ingredient. Mometasone furoate is a corticosteroid. Aleric Spray aerosol is intended for intranasal use. It relieves the symptoms of rhinitis (swelling, irritation), sneezing, itching and nasal congestion, and reduces the amount of nasal discharge. It is intended for use in treating the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) diagnosed by a doctor. The preparation can be used by people over 18 years of age.

Application:
Aleric Spray aerosol is indicated for use in the treatment of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis diagnosed by a doctor. The drug is intended for people over 18 years of age.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The possibility of using the drug in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be consulted with a doctor, but the drug is not recommended unless it is absolutely necessary. The drug contains benzalkonium chloride (20mcg in one spray dose) - this ingredient may irritate or cause swelling inside the nose (especially when used for a long time).

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of an untreated infection within the nasal cavity (e.g. herpes); Use the drug only after the infection has been treated. Do not use in the case of a recent nose surgery, do not use in the case of a recent nose injury; Do not use the drug until the wound heals. Do not use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. Immediate hypersensitivity reactions may occur after dosing - swelling of the face, tongue, throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, wheezing, breathing difficulties (frequency not known). Reactions may be serious. In the event of their occurrence, discontinue use of the drug and seek medical attention immediately. When corticosteroids are used in high doses over a long period of time, side effects may occur as a result of the drug being absorbed into the body. Other side effects: common - headache, sneezing, nose bleeding; very common in patients with nasal polyps who used two doses in each nostril twice a day; irritated nose or throat, sore throat nasal ulceration, upper respiratory tract infection; frequency unknown - increase in pressure in the eyeball and / or cataracts causing visual disturbances, damage to the nasal septum that separates the nostrils, changes in taste and smell, blurred vision.

Dosage of the Aleric Spray aerosol:

The drug should be used according to the doctor's instructions or as indicated on the leaflet. The drug should not be used in higher doses or for a longer period than recommended. Adults (over 18 years of age): the usual recommendation is to use two sprays in each nostril once a day. The dose may be reduced to one dose in each nostril a day when you feel better.

This dose should be effective for maintenance treatment. Relief of symptoms in some people may be achieved within 12 hours of the first dose, but the full benefit of this medicine may not be realized in the first two days of treatment, so continue regular treatment to get the full benefit of the treatment. If there is no improvement or your symptoms worsen after 14 days of treatment, please consult your doctor. The drug can be used for a maximum of 3 months without consulting a doctor.

How to use:

before application, remove the cap, shake it; before the first use, press the pump 10 times until a fine mist is obtained (if the preparation has not been used for 14 days, press the pump twice until a uniform mist is obtained). Before applying the drug, the nose should be cleansed and cleared (you can use saline or sea water). Shake the bottle, remove the protective cap.

Place the tip of the dispenser between your index and middle fingers, hold the bottle with your thumb. Insert the tip of the dispenser into the nostril, close the other nostril with your finger. Tilt your head forward slightly, hold the bottle upright. The tip of the dispenser should be pointing away from the septum of the nose. Never spray the spray directly onto the septum as it may damage the nasal mucosa. With a gentle, slow inhalation through the nose, spray the medicine.

Exhale through the mouth. Repeat the action in the other nostril. After application, wipe the tip with a clean tissue, put on the protective cap. The tip of the dispenser and the protective cover should be regularly washed in warm water. Just take them off the bottle, rinse them under running water, and then let them dry. Do not pierce the tip of the dispenser with sharp objects. After cleaning, check if the dispenser is working properly by spraying the preparation twice. as it can damage the lining of the nose.
