What is allergic rhinitis?
Our body's immune system is the best protection against bacteria, viruses and other pathogens. Foreign substances that get into our body are simply neutralized and excreted. Sometimes our body incorrectly evaluates a harmless substance from the environment (e.g. pollen) and initiates an inappropriately strong defense reaction. Such a hypersensitivity reaction is called an allergy. The most common form of allergy is seasonal allergic rhinitis, which manifests itself for example as a runny nose or itchy eyes. If the allergic rhinitis is triggered by pollen, one speaks of a pollen allergy (Latin pollinosis), also known as hay fever.
How long is a hay fever season?
Depending on the flowering time of the various plants, early bloomers such as hazel and alder usually release pollen as early as February. With rising temperatures, the flight of tree pollen (e.g. birch) and grass pollen follows. Herbs (e.g. ragweed) do not multiply until late in the year and the pollen flies through the air until October.

How does Allvent ® work with seasonal allergic rhinitis?
Allvent ® starts where the hay fever occurs and normalizes the immune reaction. Instead of an allergic overreaction, the body produces more antibodies of the IgG class with continuous Allvent ® consumption, which render allergenic substances harmless without any annoying symptoms.
What does Allvent ® intens contain?
Allvent ® intens contains a special vegetable extract from the root of Astragalus membranaceus (tragacanth root extract), calcium and vitamin C.
How is Allvent ® intens used?
Allvent ®intens can be used twice a day with 1 capsule each for existing hay fever symptoms. It takes time for the body to adjust to it and for the symptoms to noticeably decrease. The dosage can then be reduced to 1 capsule once a day until the end of the hay fever season.
Can Allvent ® intens be used before the hay fever season begins?
In order to reduce the sensitivity to pollen, you can start taking Allvent ® intens one month before the expected hay fever symptoms. Take 1 capsule a day about half an hour before a meal.
Can children also use Allvent ® intensively?
General event® intens can be safely used by children from the age of 12 years. What are the advantages of Allvent ® intens? Allvent ® intens is extremely well tolerated. It does not make you tired and does not lead to a dry mouth. This means that you can drive and operate machines while taking Allvent ® intens.
Contains an extract from the root of Astragalus membranaceus (Lectranal ® ), calcium and vitamin C.
Calcium and vitamin C are increased due to the increased need in this particular area of application. The composition of Allvent ®intens is tailored to meet the special needs of patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis in such a way that it compensates for the disturbed immune reaction.

Important information: Allvent ® intens is not suitable as the only source of food. Use only under medical supervision. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age.
Recommended use: If you already have hay fever symptoms, take 1 capsule twice a day (morning and evening about 12 hours apart) about half an hour before a meal on an empty stomach until the symptoms improve. Then 1 capsule once a day until the end of the hay fever season.
