- Azelastine hydrochloride, allergic rhinitis. Nasal spray Azelastin POS 1mg / ml is a medicinal product containing as active substance azelastine, a substance with antihistamine. The indication for the use of the drug is allergic rhinitis.
Composition:
The active substance of the drug - is azelastine hydrochloride. One dose (one press of the dosing pump) provides 0.14 ml of solution containing 0.14 mg of azelastine hydrochloride and the other ingredients are: disodium edetate, hypromellose, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium chloride, purified water.
Action:
The active substance in Azelastin POS 1mg / ml - azelastine - is an antihistamine. The mechanism of its action consists in inhibiting the activity of histamine, which is produced in the body during an allergic reaction. Azelastin POS 1mg / ml is indicated for use in adults and children over six years of age in the symptomatic treatment of seasonal rhinitis.

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. The drug is not suitable for use in the treatment of influenza or cold. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Must be used within 6 months of opening.
Contraindications:

After observing any side effects, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor. If you experience any side effects, stop using Azelastin POS and contact your doctor immediately. The adverse reactions listed above are usually of a temporary nature.
Dosage:
The drug should be used as directed by your doctor or as recommended on the leaflet. For nasal use. Spray one dose of the preparation into each nostril once. It is recommended to be used twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. Before the first use: prepare the aerosol for use, ie press the pump 1-2 times, until the product is sprayed. Application: blow the nose, keeping your head straight, insert the tip of the applicator into the nostril and press. Apply a light breath during application. After each use, wipe the tip of the applicator and put on the cover. One package should be used by one person. The maximum period of uninterrupted use is 6 months.
