How does Otriven, sinusitis treatment SinuSpray work?

In the case of sinusitis, the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride ensures that the nasal mucous membranes quickly decongest and you can breathe freely again. In addition, Otriven SinuSpray 0.1% contains the flavors menthol and eucalyptus, which bring a pleasant scent and a fresh feeling.

What should I watch out for with sinusitis treatment, Otriven SinuSpray 0.1%?

Otriven SinuSpray 0.1% is suitable for children from 6 years of age. One spray per nostril can be given up to 3 times a day if required. Make sure not to use the preparation for more than 7 days.
It is not recommended for use in chronic colds (rhinitis sicca). Also pay attention to possible allergies to xylometazoline, levomenthol, cineole, benzalkonium chloride as a preservative or any of the other ingredients of Otriven SinuSpray 0.1%.
