What is Sinolpan® and what is it used for?
Sinolpan® contains the active ingredient cineole.
Sinolpan® is an anti-inflammatory and expectorant drug for additional treatment in diseases of the respiratory tract.
For the treatment of symptoms of bronchitis and colds of
the respiratory tract. For additional treatment of chronic and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, e.g. the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis).
The medicine is intended for use in children (6-11 years), adolescents (12-17 years) and adults.
How should Sinolpan® be used?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents from 12 years | 2 capsules (equivalent to 200 mg cineole) | 4 - 8 capsules (equivalent to 400 - 800 mg cineole) |
Children from 8 to under 12 years (approx. 25 - 43 kg) | 1 capsule (equivalent to 100 mg cineole) | 3 capsules (equivalent to 300 mg cineole) |
Children from 6 to under 8 years (approx. 20 - 24 kg) | 1 capsule (equivalent to 100 mg cineole) | 3 capsules (equivalent to 300 mg cineole) |
The medicine is intended for use in children (6-11 years), adolescents (12-17 years) and adults.
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 2 capsules 3 times a day. In particularly stubborn cases, 2 capsules 4 times a day. For further and long-term treatment, 2 capsules twice a day are generally sufficient.
Children from 6 to 11 years of age take 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Before children take Sinolpan®, it should be ensured that they can swallow the capsules.
SINOLPAN acute bronchitis symptoms treatment Method of application:
The drug is intended for oral use.
Please take Sinolpan® whole with plenty of
liquid that is not too hot (preferably a glass of drinking water [200 ml])
half an hour before eating, if possible . If you have a sensitive
stomach, it is advisable to take Sinolpan® during meals.
The duration of the intake depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.
A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist for more than a week, if you have shortness of breath, if you have a fever or if you have purulent or bloody sputum.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sinolpan® is too strong or too
weak.
If you have taken more Sinolpan®
than you should.
Sinolpan® has not been known to be poisoned.
If you suspect an overdose with Sinolpan®,
please inform your doctor. Depending on the severity of the symptoms of poisoning, the latter can decide on any measures that may be required.
Possible symptoms of an overdose with Sinolpan®
include central nervous disorders such as clouding of consciousness,
tiredness, weakness of the extremities, excessive reduction in
the size of the pupils (miosis) and, in severe cases, coma and breathing disorders
.
If you forget to
take Sinolpan® Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

( E 322), glycerol 85%, propylene glycol, glycerol monostearate 40-55,
