Arthridonum H is a dietary supplement for dogs and cats. The joint powder contains a combination of chondroitin, glucosamine and MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) in an ideal proportion so that the active ingredients reach the joint in sufficient quantities and can be efficiently incorporated into the cartilage.

Who is Arthridonum H suitable for?

These are the ingredients in Heilkraft Arthridonum H 

• Glucosamine: An amino sugar, i.e. a building block made of sugar (glucose) and proteins (proteins) that occurs naturally in the joints, cartilage and synovial fluid.
• Chondroitin: The natural polysaccharide chondroitin, also known as chondroitin sulfate, is produced in the body to build cartilage tissue.
• MSM:  Organic sulfur (also known as methylsulfonylmethane or dimethylsulfone), which is a natural component of many animal and plant organisms. It can promote the body's natural joint structure, especially the articular cartilage and the supporting system.

These three substances are a useful addition to an adapted diet and can help support the natural function of the articular cartilage in both growing and adult animals.

What is special about Arthridonum H from Heilkraft?

The preparation is based on a tried and tested recipe from Israel, where it has been given to people and animals with osteoarthritis and other joint diseases for years. The infamous Hamburg veterinarian Dirk Schrader adapted the joint remedy for the German market and made it available to the Heilkraft founders. 

The power of the special recipe lies, on the one hand, in the combination of the three carefully selected ingredients and, on the other hand, in the carefully considered proportions in which they are mixed together. 

What is the meaning of Arthridonum H?

The name says it all and is made up of the Latin word Arthron for “joint” and “Donum” for gift. The Hanseatic veterinarian Dirk Schrader wanted to pay tribute to his northern German hometown with the letter H.

What should be taken into account when using and dosing Arthridonum H from Heilkraft?

Mix the amount of Arthridonum H to be administered into your animal's food. The recommended daily dose can be divided into two feed rations. 

Use double the dose for the first two weeks. Arthridonum H can be used as a treatment or as a long-term administration.
The recommended duration of use is 12 weeks. This can be lengthened individually or shortened with a restorative treatment.

A heaped teaspoon corresponds to approx. 7.5 g
