As a prevention against worm infestation
Prevention of worm infestation: Especially breeders who keep their birds in free aviaries often have to do with worm infestation in their bird population. The worms can be introduced by newly introduced imported birds, or ingested with the food, or introduced by birds that live in the wild.
The ornamental birds become infected via the worm eggs in the faeces of animals that have already been infected. The worm eggs remain infectious in the droppings for one to two weeks. With V 90, the bird owner has the opportunity to intervene preventively. The cure is carried out for three to four months on young animals, and two to three times a year for a fortnightly course on adult animals.

The administration takes place via the feed or via the drinking water. Depending on the size, 3-8 globules per animal are calculated on approx. 100ml drinking water. The preparations are administered for one to two days or up to several weeks, depending on the area of application. There is no getting used to.
A healthy animal that ingests PETVITAL V globules does not suffer any disadvantages as a result, the preparation simply has no effect on him. It is therefore not necessary to separate healthy animals from those to be treated. Contraindications, side effects and interactions with other preparations are not known.
