ProlactiNO Preparation against false pregnancy for small breeds 30 tablets

A preparation with chasteberry extract inhibiting the release of prolactin indicated for bitches with symptoms typical of so-called phantom pregnancy.

Indications

Intended for bitches with symptoms typical of so-called phantom pregnancy. For use alone or as a supplement to hormone therapy. The preparation can be used before the symptoms appear or during their duration.

Action

The chasteberry extract contained in the preparation (Vitex angus-castus) has an antiprolactin effect, because the active substances contained in it (diterpenes) bind to dopamine receptors and thus inhibit the release of prolactin. Prolactin is the main hormone responsible for the development of symptoms of phantom pregnancy in bitches, therefore a decrease in its level may result in reduced stimulation of the mammary glands of the bitch to produce milk.

Ingredients

Chasteberry extract (Vitex angus-castus), which helps inhibit the release of prolactin (a hormone stimulating lactation).
Parsley and dandelion leaf extract, which have a diuretic effect.
Horse chestnut extract, which, thanks to the aescin contained in it, helps reduce swelling of the mammary glands.

Use

It is recommended to administer 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight. Use for a maximum of 30 days.
