Additionally, the supplement also regenerates the liver and regulates the urea cycle. It facilitates the digestion of fats, proteins and dietary carbohydrates. Particularly recommended for dogs and cats with digestive problems, in the presence of undigested food residues in the stool and as a supporting preparation for pancreatic insufficiency or cholestasis accompanying impaired liver function.

Action

Betaine - occurs as betaine hydrochloride with properties that stimulate the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Its presence improves digestion, especially of proteins - betaine hydrochloride has properties that lower the pH of the stomach contents, thanks to which protein substances are denatured by pancreatic enzymes.
Artichoke - increases the secretion of bile and the content of bile acids in bile and facilitates its passage through the bile ducts. Artichoke extract also contains luteolin and cynarin, which have a hepatoprotective effect, stabilize the metabolism of cholesterol and fatty acids in the liver of dogs and cats.
Licorice - stimulates the secretion of endogenous secretin, which increases the amount of secreted pancreatic juice, which has a positive effect on the digestive process in the intestines.

Application
