What is Narine?
Narine bacteria belong to the genus of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus) . Within this genus, there are many different probiotic strains that differ in their properties. Narine bacteria were discovered in 1954 when the Armenian scientist Professor Levon Akopovich Erzinkyan isolated the bacteria from the meconium (first feces) of his newborn granddaughter. Eight years later, the bacteria were patented by Professor Erzinkyan. There are now many studies and specialist articles on the unique bacteria.

The bacteria are cultivated using cow's milk, which is completely consumed by the bacteria during production. What may remain are traces of lactose.
