Aciclostad ®Against cold sores, cold sore treatment, acyclovir is a cream for the soothing therapy of pain and itching in the case of herpes in the area of the lips. Cold sores are noticeable when the immune system is weakened by painful blisters on the lips. On the one hand, the drug relieves the symptoms that typically occur, such as feelings of tension, itching and burning sensation on the lips. On the other hand, the preparation for the treatment of herpes labialis inhibits the further spread of the virus. To do this, the drug should be applied to the affected skin areas 5 times a day at intervals of 4 hours during the day.

How long does cold sore healing take?
