- The medicine contains the active ingredient doxylamine hydrogen succinate.
- It is used for the short-term treatment of sleep disorders in adults.

The recommended dose is

Adult
- The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet (25 mg doxylamine hydrogen succinate) daily, taken 30 minutes before bedtime.
- Do not take more than 1 film-coated tablet per day.

Older people
- People over 65 may have other medical conditions that require a reduced doxylamine dose. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.

Patients with impaired liver or kidney function
- These patients should take a different dose, adjusted to the severity of their disease and determined by their doctor.
- For dosages that are not possible with this medicine, other medicines of the appropriate strength are available.

Children and young people (under 18 years of age)
- This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. This medicine should not be used in this patient group.

Duration of application
- The duration of use should be as short as possible. Generally, the duration of use can range from a few days to a week. The medicine should not be used for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor.

If you have taken more than you should
- Symptoms of an overdose include drowsiness, depression, or central nervous system symptoms with anticholinergic effects such as dilated pupils, fever, dry mouth, and constipation. Other symptoms may include skin reddening, changes in heart rate, increased blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, abnormal gait, dizziness, irritability, sedation, confusion, and hallucinations. This can lead to delirium, psychosis, hypotension, seizures, shortness of breath, unconsciousness, coma, and even death. A serious complication can be the occurrence of rhabdomyolysis (breakdown of muscle fibers; the first sign is muscle pain), followed by kidney failure. If one or more of the above symptoms occur, a doctor should be contacted immediately. Your doctor will decide on the necessary measures.

If you forget to take it
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Take your dose the next day at the usual time.
