each Libramed, thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard®, acts on the intestines by forming a highly viscous gel that promotes the control of post-meal blood sugar spikes by reducing the amount and speed of absorption of carbohydrates (sustained-release effect) . It also reduces the feeling of hunger and tiredness after meals. In addition, through this mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard® limits fat absorption, promotes intestinal transit and regulates stool consistency.

Thanks to its mechanism of action, Libramed, in combination with a balanced diet, adequate fluid intake and regular physical activity, is suitable for weight control in adults and adolescents from 8 years of age.

Take the indicated dose with a large glass of water, making sure to swallow the tablets one at a time. Do not chew or crush the tablets with your teeth. If you have problems swallowing tablets, you can add the Libramed tablets to lukewarm water or unsweetened fruit or herbal tea and stir until completely dissolved. The resulting drink must be consumed within a few minutes before gel formation begins.

The product is not a substitute for a balanced diet. Follow a low-calorie diet and get regular physical activity. In the case of a long-term diet (more than three weeks) it is recommended to consult a doctor.

WARNINGS It is recommended to take the product two hours apart from medicines to avoid interactions with their intake. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more ingredients. Store at room temperature and protect from heat and light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date refers to the unopened and properly stored product.
