    • Notice:
      • In general, this drug, like other laxatives, is known to lead to chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, low potassium levels, excessive secretion of aldosterone and kidney stones in chronic overdose. In connection with chronic laxative abuse, damage to the kidney tissue, metabolic increase in base concentrations in the blood and muscle weakness caused by reduced potassium levels have also been reported.
