- Indications for use ENDIEX (nifuroxazide) is an acute bacterial diarrhea without general signs of infection (travelers diarrhea, toxicity, inflammation of the stomach and intestines).
Composition:
1 capsule contains 200 mg nifuroksazydu (Nifuroxazidum).

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to nitrofuran derivatives history or any of the excipients do not use in children less than 6 years
, patients with a known glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (due to the risk of hemolytic anemia)
Notes:
The basic principle in the treatment of diarrhea each, regardless of the age of the patient, is watering. In case of severe, prolonged diarrhea, severe vomiting or loss of appetite, consider
hydration intravenously. In the case of infectious diarrhea with signs of systemic infection, preparations should be given
antimicrobial with good systemic distribution. If diarrhea persists after two or three days of treatment, used to verify the treatment and consider including oral or intravenous hydration. In case of worsening of diarrhea during treatment, immediately contact your doctor. The preparation should be used at the same time maintaining a strict diet to the exclusion of juices, raw vegetables and fruit, a heavy and savory dishes.
In the case of a hypersensitivity reaction (shortness of breath, rash, pruritus) discontinue treatment. During treatment nifuroxazide should not drink alcohol.

Dosage:
Adults: 800 mg per day administered in four divided doses.
Children above the age of 6 years: 600 mg per day given in three divided doses. Treatment with ENDIEX should not take more than 7 days.
