Each tablet contains 20 mg of pantoprazole (as sodium sesquihydrate) and the other ingredients: mannitol, crospovidone (type B), sodium carbonate, anhydrous, hydroxypropylcellulose (low viscosity), calcium stearate, coating ingredients: hypromellose (3cP), iron oxide yellow ( E 172), methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer (1: 1) 30% dispersion, triethyl citrate.

Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. This medicine is not intended to relieve symptoms immediately. The drug should not be used as a preventive measure. If you have been experiencing recurring heartburn or indigestion symptoms for some time, please consult your doctor and be under regular medical supervision. Use in children and adolescents: the drug should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. If you experience side effects such as visual disturbances or dizziness after taking this medicine, you should not drive or operate machinery.

Pantoprazole Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in case of allergy to other proton pump inhibitors. Do not use while taking atazanavir. Do not use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Pantoprazole Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. If the following side effects occur, stop taking the medicine and seek medical help as soon as possible: severe allergic reactions (rare) - swelling of the tongue and / or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives (nettle-burn rash), difficulty breathing, allergic swelling of the face (Quincke's edema / angioedema), severe dizziness with increased heart rate and profuse sweating; severe skin reactions (frequency not known) - blistering of the skin and rapid deterioration of your general condition, erosion (with slight bleeding) of the eyes, nose, mouth / mouth or genitals (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Lyell's syndrome, erythema multiforme) and hypersensitivity to light; other serious reactions (frequency not known) - yellowing of the skin and eyes (severe damage to liver cells, jaundice) or fever, rash, and enlarged kidney problems, sometimes with painful urination and lower back pain with fever ( severe inflammation of the kidneys). Other side effects: common: benign gastric polyps; uncommon - headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal fullness and wind, constipation, dry mouth, abdominal pain and discomfort, skin rash, erythema, skin eruption, itchy skin , weakness, exhaustion or general malaise, sleep disturbances, increase in liver enzymes. Taking proton pump inhibitors (especially over a year) may slightly increase your risk of fracture in the hip, wrist or spine (so be careful in people with osteoporosis and people who use corticosteroids); rare - altered or completely absent sense of taste, visual disturbances such as blurred vision, hives, joint pain, muscle pain, weight changes, increased body temperature, high fever, swelling of the extremities (peripheral edema), allergic reactions, depression, breast enlargement in men; very rarely - orientation disorders; Not known - hallucinations, confusional state (especially in patients with a history of these symptoms), decreased sodium level in the blood, inflammation of the large intestine, which causes persistent watery diarrhea. If pantoprazole is used for more than three months, the levels of magnesium in the blood may fall, which may result in fatigue, tetany, delirium, convulsions, dizziness and ventricular arrhythmias (consult your doctor if you experience such symptoms). Low levels of magnesium in the blood can also reduce the levels of potassium and calcium in the blood. Side effects identified by blood tests: uncommon - increased liver enzymes; rarely - increased bilirubin; increase in blood fat levels associated with high fever, sudden decrease in the amount of circulating granulocytes; very rare - reduction in the number of blood platelets, reduction in the number of white blood cells, coexisting abnormal reduction in the number of red and white blood cells,

Dosage of pantoprazole Gerdin Max 0.02g tablets:

Use the drug as recommended on the leaflet or according to the doctor's instructions. Recommended daily dose: 1 tablet. Use one hour before a meal. Do not chew or divide the tablet, swallow it whole with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 20 mg pantoprazole. It is recommended to take the drug for at least 2-3 consecutive days, treatment should be discontinued when the symptoms completely disappear. Symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn may improve after just one day of taking the medicine, but this preparation is not intended to relieve symptoms immediately. If your symptoms have not improved after 14 days of treatment, please consult your doctor. Do not use the drug for more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor.
