- Medicinal product Indigestion tablets contain active plant ingredients. Indications for use of the drug are disorders of the digestive process. The preparation helps to stimulate digestive juices and bile, it also has a relaxant effect.
Composition Tablets against indigestion:
Active substances: dandelion root (Taraxaci radix), caraway fruit (Carvi fructus), peppermint leaf (Menthae piperitae folium), buckthorn bark (Frangulae cortex), Silybi mariani extractum siccum raffinatum et normatum (24-27: 1) (refined and standardized dry extract of milk thistle) with 58% + / - 10% silymarin calculated as silibinin (extractant: acetone 95%). One tablet contains 100mg dandelion root, 50mg cumin fruit, 60mg peppermint leaves, 60mg buckthorn bark, 7mg dry milk thistle extract and excipients: potato starch, colloidal anhydrous silica. One tablet contains 3.61-3.99 mg of anthranoid compounds calculated as glucofrangulin A.
Action Tablets against indigestion:
Indigestion tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product for use in specific indications resulting solely from its long-term use. The drug is traditionally used in ailments resulting from digestive disorders, i.e. in the case of flatulence, a feeling of fullness in the stomach and insufficient secretion of bile and gastric juice. The active substances contained in the drug stimulate the secretion of digestive juices and bile, in addition they have mild relaxant and carminative properties.
Application:
Medicinal product Indigestion tablets indicated for use in the case of digestive disorders including feeling of fullness in the stomach, too little bile and gastric acid secretion, flatulence.
Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. In the event of overdose, diarrhea may occur, which may result in the loss of electrolytes (mainly potassium ions). In this situation, the deficiency of fluids and electrolytes should be supplemented.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug or to other plants of the Asteraceae family. Do not use in children under 12 years of age and in women during pregnancy and lactation. Do not use in the case of intestinal obstruction, intestinal narrowing or atony, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), abdominal pain of unknown etiology, dehydration accompanied by loss of electrolytes, narrowing of the bile ducts, liver disease, cholelithiasis, active stomach and duodenal disease, and other biliary tract diseases.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking this medicine. Gastro-intestinal reflux and heartburn may increase. Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, abdominal cramps and pain, hyperacidity, fluid stool may occur (especially in people with irritable bowel syndrome). Long-term abuse of the drug may cause water-electrolyte imbalance, proteinuria, hematuria, deposition of pigment in the lining of the large intestine, which usually disappears after discontinuation of the drug. You may notice red-burgundy or yellow urine (pH-dependent color) while you are taking this medicine.
Dosage of tablets Indigestion tablets:
Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Adolescents over 12 years of age, adults, elderly: take two tablets three times a day. Take after a meal, drink water. The possibility of extending the treatment beyond 7-14 days should be discussed with the doctor.
