What is lactose intolerance?
Lactose intolerance (milk sugar intolerance) is the most common food intolerance in Germany. People with lactose intolerance cannot or only partially digest the lactose (milk sugar) found in dairy products.
How does LactoStop ® work ?
LactoStop ® replaces the missing endogenous enzyme lactase. Lactase splits the lactose ingested with food into its digestible components galactose and glucose. Unpleasant mood disorders such as abdominal pain, bloating or flatulence can be avoided in this way.
How do I dose LactoStop? ®
LactoStop ® is available in dosage strengths of 3,300 FCC, 5,500 FCC and 14,000 FCC.
The personal need for added lactase depends on the body's own lactase production as well as on the amount of lactose contained in food and beverages. Therefore, the need for lactase intake varies greatly from person to person. You determine your personal requirements individually by varying the number of tablets or the dosage of the tablets (FCC units).
The lactase content in LactoStop ® is given in FCC units (Food Chemicals Codex). To open your personal LactoStop ® to determine Supplies proceed first by following rule of thumb from: 1000 FCC units split about 1.7 g lactose
