Overwhelmed digestion? Help her with the Lefax ® enzyme chewable tablets
Lefax ®Enzyme chewable tablets help in two ways: They support the body's own digestion with natural digestive enzymes and also prevent the formation of air in the stomach thanks to the active ingredient Simethicone. Simeticon acts only locally in the gastrointestinal tract and is therefore well tolerated. By taking it, you'll boost your digestion and avoid problems like bloating, bloating, or gas. The Lefax ® enzyme chewable tablets have a pleasant pineapple taste.
Support digestion, relieve flatulence - with the Lefax ® enzyme chewable tablets
Even if the body is perfectly healthy, it can feel overwhelmed after hasty or heavy eating. Even with a healthy and balanced diet, you may experience the following symptoms:
• Bloating
• Bloating with pain
• Flatulence
When food is hard on your stomach, Lefax ® Enzyme Chewable Tablets can help with their dual action. The natural enzymes support healthy digestion. The enzymes are the so-called LAP enzymes:
• Lipases: digest fats
• Amylases: break down carbohydrates
• Proteases: utilize proteins
They act as a natural accelerator of digestion and stimulate the breakdown of food - for a well-digested meal that can be better utilized by the body.
Especially with age, the number of enzymes can decrease, which means that the gastrointestinal tract may need a little longer to digest the food. With Lefax ® enzyme you supply your body with the natural digestive enzymes and support healthy digestion.
In addition, the contained active ingredient Simethicone prevents the formation of new air in the stomach. The Lefax ® enzyme chewable tablets are very mild and well tolerated.
The effect takes place only locally in the gastrointestinal tract; the active substance does not enter the bloodstream. When using, you should observe the following dosage:
Children over 12 years and adults: 1 to 2 chewable tablets 3 times a day
Take the chewable tablets with meals and chew them up quickly and thoroughly. Swallowing briskly and drinking some liquid will help the enzymes mix well with the chyme in the stomach. The duration of use is not limited and an interruption of treatment is quite possible. Younger children and patients with acute pancreatitis or an acute flare-up of chronic pancreatitis should not take the drug - as should people who are allergic to one of the ingredients contained. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are also not recommended to use the chewable tablets due to a lack of studies.
Overdosing or underdosing has no known effects - you can continue taking it as usual afterwards. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date has passed. You can find this on the packaging, it always refers to the last day of the month. Do not store the Lefax ® enzyme chewable tablets above 25 degrees Celsius.
Diabetics should note that one chewable tablet contains 0.5 grams of digestible carbohydrates. This corresponds to 0.04 bread units (BE).
The active ingredients of the Lefax ® enzyme chewable tablets
The small, round, slightly beige chewable tablets with a light pineapple flavor contain pancreas powder and the active ingredient simethicone. The pancreas powder supplies the LAP enzymes (lipases, amylases, proteases) that are important for digestion. Simeticon dissolves existing air bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract and also prevents the formation of new air bubbles.
