Microlax rectal ingot containing three active substances - sodium citrate, liquid sorbitol and sodium lauryl sulfoacetate. Microlax 5ml is indicated for the treatment of periodic constipation. The drug is for adults only.

Composition of Microlax 5ml rectal solution:

Active substances: liquid sorbitol, sodium citrate, sodium laurilsulfoacetate. 5ml of rectal solution contains: liquid (crystallizing) sorbitol - 4.4650g, sodium citrate - 0.4500g, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate 70% - 0.0645g and other ingredients: sorbic acid, glycerol, purified water

Action Microlax 5ml rectal solution:

Microlax 5ml is a laxative rectal solution. It contains up to three active substances. Sodium citrate has a softening effect, penetrates deep into the stool and releases with bound water. Liquid sorbitol as an osmotic substance helps to keep the right amount of water in the rectum, which is necessary to soften the feces and remove it. Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate reduces surface tension, moisturizes and prevents clumping. The drug has no contraindications for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Application:
The medicinal product Microlax 5ml rectal solution indicated for use in adults in the treatment of periodic constipation.

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Concomitant use with other rectal drugs is not recommended, as well as the use of the drug for inflammation of the varicose veins of the anus, anal fissures, proctitis and colitis associated with bleeding. The drug should not be used for a long time. Pregnant and lactating women should talk to their doctor before using the drug.

Contraindications for use Microlax 5ml rectal solution:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use for abdominal pain of unknown cause. Do not use when using a cation exchange resin based on calcium or sodium polystyrene sulfonate (oral or rectal).

Side effects:
