- Radirex Max is a preparation with a laxative effect. The indication for Radirex MAX use are occasional constipation. The medicinal substance used in the Radirex MAX capsules is a dry extract from the root of the moulting.
Radirex Max composition:
One hard capsule contains 196.9mg-371.2mg of dry extract from Rheum palmatum L. and / or Rheum officinale Baillon, radix (root irritation), which corresponds to 15mg of hydroxyanthracene derivatives calculated as rhein. Extractant: ethanol 70% v / v. Excipient with known effect: lactose monohydrate 3.8mg-178.1mg. The other ingredients are: anhydrous colloidal silica, calcium carbonate, type A crospovidone, magnesium stearate, hard gelatin capsule imprinted (capsule: iron oxide black, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, gelatin; ink: shellac, propylene glycol, concentrated ammonia solution, potassium hydroxide, iron oxide black).
Operation Radirex Max:
The Radirex Max plant medicinal product contains 15 mg of hydroxyanthracene derivatives calculated as rhein in one capsule. The drug has a laxative effect. The drug is recommended for occasional constipation. Laxative action occurs after approximately 8-12 hours.
Radirex MAX Application:
Radirex Max is indicated for use in short-term treatment of occasional constipation. For use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
Additional information Radirex MAX:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. Use caution and consult a physician if you use cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmics, QT prolonging medications, diuretics, corticosteroids and licorice root. Due to the lactose content, please consult your doctor before using the drug in case of people who are intolerant to some sugars.
Radirex MAX Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use below 12 years of age. Do not use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in the case of intestinal obstruction, stricture or atony, in the case of appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease (eg ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), abdominal pain of unknown cause, in case of severe dehydration with excessive loss of water and electrolytes.
Side effects Radirex MAX: Adverse reactions
may occur during treatment: (frequency not known) disorders of the immune system - hypersensitivity reactions; stomach and intestinal disorders - abdominal pain, intestinal cramps, fluid stool (especially in people who have hypersensitivity to the large intestine). In the case of long-term intake of the preparation, water and electrolyte balance, hematuria or proteinuria may be disturbed, as well as pigmentation of the intestinal mucosa. During treatment may also occur red-brown or yellow (depending on pH) urine, which is caused by the presence of metabolites of active substances in it.
Dosing of Radirex capsules Max
Use Radirex MAX as directed by your doctor or follow the instructions on the leaflet. The maximum daily dose is 30mg of hydroxyanthracene glycosides (two capsules). The recommended single dose is the smallest dose needed to induce easy bowel movement with a soft stool. Adolescents over 12, adults and the elderly: two capsules a day, in the evening. You can lower the dose if the effect of the medicine is too strong. It is recommended not to use for more than two weeks without consulting a doctor.
