Rebutestin Forte is a food for special medical purposes, which contains sodium butyrate enclosed in pellets covered with a shell and additionally in a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule.
This protects sodium butyrate from the harmful effects of stomach acid and allows it to be transported to the large intestine. The composition of the pellet causes the gradual release of butyrate along the entire length of the small and large intestine.

Butyric acid belongs to the group of short-chain fatty acids and is the basic energy material for the intestinal epithelium. It is formed in physiological conditions, in the process of fiber fermentation in the large intestine. In order to function properly, the epithelium of the large intestine must be properly nourished, because only then does it protect against the entry of bacteria and toxins into the human body from the intestinal contents.

The product is intended for dietary management in:
inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa (including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, intestinal infections and intestinal flora disorders (e.g. after antibiotic therapy), enteritis

constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia,

Adults: 1 capsule orally twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Children over 7 years of age: orally 1 capsule a day (preferably in the evening). The time of using the product should be in accordance with the doctor's instructions. The preparation should be taken whole with water (without chewing and spilling the contents).
