Used as supportive treatment for chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis, and liver damage caused by hepatotoxins (toxic liver damage). This medicine is not intended for the treatment of acute poisoning. Note: Contains sodium.

Natural support for the liver.
A healthy, fully functioning liver is very important for the entire organism. Weighing approximately 1,500 g, the liver is the body's largest gland and a vital metabolic organ. Various factors can disrupt liver cell function, including, in particular, toxins such as alcohol, excessive sugar and fat in the diet, and certain medications. Silymarin STADA® 109 mg hard capsules, a dry extract from milk thistle fruit, protects liver cells from toxins and stimulates the regeneration of liver cells.*

Directions for use:

The recommended dose is:
Adults take 1 hard capsule 3 times daily (milk thistle fruit dry extract corresponding to 109 mg silymarin).
Ingredients:
The active ingredient is: milk thistle fruit dry extract.
One hard capsule contains 167.69–206.44 mg of purified dry extract from milk thistle fruit (36–44:1) corresponding to 109 mg silymarin, calculated as silibinin (HPLC). Extraction solvent: ethyl acetate. The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, sodium starch glycolate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [vegetable], gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron(III) oxide (E 172), purified water.
