BACTIGRAS antiseptic paraffin gauze 5x5 cm
Pack size:50 pieces Dosage form:Wound gauze
BACTIGRAS is a soft paraffin gauze dressing with chlorhexidine that serves as protection against adhesion between the wound and the secondary dressing.
This enables an atraumatic dressing change for the patient. The open dressing structure allows wound exudate to drain easily into an absorbent secondary dressing.
A special weave prevents fraying when cutting the bandage.
BACTIGRAS is effective against a broad spectrum of germs and thus reduces the risk of germs colonizing the wound.
BACTIGRAS contains a broad spectrum antiseptic (0.5% chlorhexidine acetate). Therefore, the bandage can be used for infection prevention and treatment. Due to the white paraffin coating, BACTIGRAS serves as protection against adhesion between the wound and the secondary dressing. This enables an atraumatic dressing change for the patient. Due to the open dressing structure of the cotton gauze, wound exudate can easily drain into an absorbent secondary dressing, such as an absorbent compress. A special weave prevents fraying when cutting the bandage.
- Permeable to air and exudate to avoid skin maceration

- Secondary dressing required (depending on the amount of exudate, e.g. use absorbent compresses, film dressings such as OPSITE™ FLEXIFIX or fixing bandages)
- Latex-free formulation
