Biatain® soft-adhesive is a soft and conformable polyurethane foam dressing with an adhesive layer that covers less than 50% of the foam surface (1).
The gentle adhesion acts like a “third hand” when changing dressings and makes it easier to apply the fixation.

Unique 3D foam structure for excellent absorption
When in contact with exudate, Biatain®'s unique 3D foam structure bulges closely to the wound base, ensuring excellent absorption - even under compression (2-4).

Minimal risk of maceration and leakage
With its excellent properties in terms of absorption and exudate storage, Biatain® gently adheres minimizes the risk of maceration and leakage.

Long wearing time
Due to the excellent absorption of Biatain®, the bandage is characterized by a long wearing time (up to 7 days) (2-4).

Soft and flexible bandage
Biatain® gently adherent is a soft and flexible bandage that is very comfortable to wear (1).

How it works
The unique 3D foam structure directs the wound exudate vertically away from the wound and stores it safely, while still maintaining a moist wound environment so that there are good conditions for wound healing.

Composition
Biatain® gently adhesive consists of a vapor-permeable, bacteria- and waterproof top film, an absorbent polyurethane foam and a gentle adhesion.

Use
Biatain® gentle adhesive can be used on a wide range of exuding wounds, particularly leg ulcers, pressure sores, second degree burns, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions. Biatain® gently adhesive can also be used under compression therapy. Biatain® gently adhesive must not be used on split-thickness skin removal sites.
