Peristeen Plus balloon catheter consumable unit.
The Peristeen Plus balloon catheter consumable unit is designed for use with the Peristeen Plus TAI system with balloon catheter.
The Peristeen Plus balloon catheter consumable unit contains:
- 15 balloon catheters
- 1 water pouch (without screw cap)*
The water bag can be used a maximum of 15 times. It is designed to stand upright on the floor and can be easily moved using the large handle. The Peristeen Plus water bag has a water temperature indicator on the front. The indicator shows the user the appropriate water temperature range for irrigation. Blue means the water is too cold, red means the water is too hot, and green means you can continue with irrigation. The catheter is for single use only. Therefore, use a new catheter for each irrigation. The catheter is coated, making insertion smoother and easier. An inflatable balloon is soft, flexible, and evenly embedded within the catheter. When inflated, it ensures that the catheter stays in place in the rectum.
*Please keep the screw cap of the water bag that you receive with your system, as it is not included with the Peristeen Plus consumable unit.
