SutriSept Wound Fluid

SutriSept Wound Fluid is a cleansing, moisturizing, and nourishing fluid used in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, as well as first- and second-degree burns, in conjunction with medical materials such as bandages, dressings, cotton swabs, and wound fillers.

In addition to wound cleansing, the product can also be used to facilitate the changing of medical materials such as dressings, bandages, etc. Wetting medical materials that have dried and adhered to the wound with the fluid facilitates their removal. Acute wounds resulting from accidents generally require rinsing of foreign bodies. Furthermore, dirty and dry wounds are usually contaminated with microorganisms. Such contamination can negatively impact the wound healing process and cause complications such as infection. Therefore, proper cleansing of an acute wound before applying a dressing and bandage is crucial.

SutriSept Wound Fluid

SutriSept Wound Fluid cleanses wounds mechanically. The surfactants in its composition ensure comfortable and painless wound cleansing by reducing surface tension. SutriSept Wound Fluid cleanses, moisturizes, and isolates the wound surface from the external environment, creating a protective coating. Maintaining the wound in a stable condition helps shorten the healing process.

Ingredients : Polyaminopropyl biguanide (polyhexanide) 0.1% and excipients (including Poloxamer 188). Directions for use : Thoroughly cleanse the entire wound and its surrounding area with SutriSept. For deep wounds with extensive tissue necrosis, rinse for 10 to 15 minutes (by applying a wet dressing).

For optimal wound cleansing, it is recommended to soak the wound for at least 15 minutes using a fully wet compress. Do not dilute the liquid. Use on dressings and bandages: Completely soak dressings and bandages that are adhered to the wound surface with the liquid and wait 1 to 5 minutes for them to soften, then carefully remove them from the wound.

Contraindications: Do not use SutriSept Liquid on wounds in the following cases: The product is not suitable for use in hyaline cartilage surgery and aseptic joint surgery, in the middle and inner ear, and should not be applied to the eyes. If the liquid comes into contact with aseptic cartilage, immediately wash it with Ringer's solution or physiological saline solution.

Do not use if the patient has a known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients. Do not use on the central nervous system or meninges. Do not use in conjunction with anionic surfactants, soaps, creams, oils, enzymes, etc. These substances should be thoroughly removed from the wound surface before applying the product.
