BIODERMA Atoderm Intensive Eye 3-in-1 for irritated eyelids: soothes, repairs, and removes makeup. This product combines cleansing, care, and long-lasting protection for the very dry, irritated, itchy, and atopic-dermatitis-prone eye area. The skin is gently soothed, repaired, and cleansed – all in one product. This 3-in-1 product is suitable for use as an adjunct to treatment for the eyelids and eye area of adults, children, and infants (except premature babies).

Skin type / skin condition:
For dry, very dry, itchy, irritated eyelids with a tendency to neurodermatitis.
Indication:
Eczema in the eye area, such as eyelid eczema, and its associated symptoms reduce well-being. Triggered by conditions such as neurodermatitis (atopic dermatitis), allergic contact dermatitis, and irritant contact dermatitis, the skin's protective barrier changes, making it more permeable to irritants. Natural lipid and moisture regulation is disrupted, causing the skin to become tight, rough, and chapped, leading to easier inflammation. The excruciating itching tempts the skin to scratch, further aggravating the symptoms. Severely irritated skin requires a soothing, restorative cleansing and care routine that can be used continuously—even alongside therapy. The innovative Atoderm Intensive eye combines cleansing, care, and long-lasting protection in one product. This offers a simple routine that eliminates the need for many products and thus ingredients and doesn't further irritate sensitive eyelids. Atoderm Intensive eye is specifically tailored to the needs of the irritated eye area and works on the cause and has a lasting effect.
How the product works:
The patented active ingredient SKIN BARRIER THERAPY™ (sucrose ester) effectively inhibits the growth of itch-causing bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus), thus restoring the balance of the skin's flora.
The patented active ingredient LIPIGENIUM™ (biomimetic lipids + essential fatty acids) activates lipid and protein production in the skin and strengthens the skin barrier.
Enoxolone has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect.
Hyaluronic acid retains water on the skin's surface and forms a protective moisture film.
Thanks to the combination of oils, the skin is gently and effectively cleansed without damaging or drying it out.
The BIODERMA sugar base DAF™ is a combination of three biomimetic, soothing sugars that inhibit the inflammatory process.
Like all BIODERMA products, Atoderm Intensive eye contains 9-fold purified water, which is very similar to the cellular water in our skin cells and is therefore highly compatible.

Application:
Apply to irritated eyelids once or twice daily.
In the morning, as a care product. The product is suitable as a makeup base.
In the evening, as a moisturizer and/or cleanser, and as a makeup remover with a cotton pad. No rinsing required.
Suitable for daily use alone or in combination with dermocorticoids. Suitable for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes. Suitable for adults, children, and infants (except premature babies).

As a daily cleanser/makeup remover:
1. Application: Apply several small dots of Atoderm Intensive eye to the eyelid.
2. Spread: Spread the product over the entire eyelid and massage in using circular motions. Spread the product onto the eyelashes to remove mascara.
3. Cleanse: Remove makeup with the cotton pad using a motion from the inner to the outer corner of the eye and from the base to the tips of the eyelashes.
For daily care:
1. Application: Apply a rice-sized amount of product to the eyelids.
2. Massage in: Gently massage in from the center outward using your index, middle, and ring fingers. Repeat 3 times.
BIODERMA Tip: Perform a drainage massage following these steps before applying the product to the skin:
1. Pressure massage: Stimulate the lymphatic system: 3 consecutive pressure points. Move the index, middle, and ring fingers outwards, applying light pressure.
2. Drainage: Slowly move the three fingers from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. Then gently move the fingers from the outer to the inner corner of the eye.
As a final drainage step, move from the inner to the outer corner of the eye, continuing along the edge of the face to the base of the neck.
