
Felogel Max PAIN joints and muscles 23.2 mg/g 120 g
The drug Felogel Max contains diclofenac, which belongs to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation in many painful conditions involving joints and muscles. Felogel Max is applied topically to the skin, massaging the gel into the painful areas.
Composition
The active substance of the drug is diclofenac (Diclofenacum natricum).
One gram of gel contains 23.2 mg of diclofenac diethylammonium, which corresponds to 20 mg of diclofenac sodium.
Excipients: butylhydroxytoluene (E 321); carbomers; cocosylcaprylocaproate; diethylamine; isopropyl alcohol; liquid paraffin (E 905a); macrogol cetostearyl ether; oleyl alcohol; propylene glycol (E 1520); cineole; purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine is intended for use on the skin.
Adults and children over 14 years of age: 2 times a day (morning and evening) on painful areas.
The amount of gel should be adjusted to the size of the affected area. An amount of gel from the size of a cherry to the size of a walnut is sufficient.
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: Do not use the gel for longer than 14 days in the case of post-traumatic conditions (e.g. resulting from sprains, strains or bruises) and soft tissue rheumatism (e.g. tendonitis, swelling around the elbow or knee).
Adults (aged 18 years and over) Do not use the gel for longer than 21 days in the case of degenerative joint disease.
If the pain and swelling do not subside within 7 days or worsen, contact your doctor.
Action
The drug has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects.
Indications
Felogel Max is indicated for use in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age in post-traumatic and limited inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, back pain. In adults (over 18 years of age), it is also used for symptomatic relief of pain in limited forms of degenerative joint diseases, such as degenerative disease of the peripheral joints and spine.
Contraindications
Do not use the drug in the case of: hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this drug and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs); patients with or without chronic asthma in whom acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs cause asthma attacks, angioedema, urticaria or acute rhinitis; use on open injuries, inflammations or infections of the skin, as well as on eczema or mucous membranes; last trimester of pregnancy; children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
