Prunus Essence, Tincture for external use
Active ingredient: Prunus spinosa e fructibus LA 25%
Composition:
10 g (10.2 ml) contains: Prunus spinosa e fructibus LA 25% 10 g (HAB, Vs. 12o).
Indications:
According to anthroposophical understanding of man and nature. These include: Stimulating the anabolic metabolism, especially in cases of exhaustion and delayed convalescence, sclerotizing diseases as an expression of weakness of the metabolic-limb system.
Contraindications:
None known.
Precautions for use and warnings:
There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age. Contains 25% alcohol by volume.
Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed:
- Compresses: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Prunus essence to about 1/8 liter of water and use for compresses.
- Sitz baths: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Prunus essence to 1 sitz bath.
- Full baths: Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of Prunus essence to 1 full bath.
Duration of use:
Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within 2-5 days, consult a doctor. The duration of treatment of chronic illnesses requires consultation with a doctor.
