In Germany, Britain, USA, many millions of women are affected by a bacterial infection of the vagina every year, some even several times a year.
A healthy vaginal flora is a natural protection against infections. The settled lactic acid bacteria (lactobacilli) ensure an acidic environment, which inhibits the growth of pathogenic germs. Vagi-C ®Vaginal tablets are intended for intravaginal use only! Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, a vaginal tablet is inserted deep into the vagina once a day in the evening before going to bed. The duration of use depends on the type and severity of the disease. To normalize the pH of the vaginal flora, the drug should be used for at least six days. EXCESSIVE HYGIENE Excessive vaginal hygiene, e.g. B. through intimate showers, can have a negative effect on the vaginal environment, since good lactic acid bacteria are also flushed out.
HORMONAL CHANGES
Hormonal changes during pregnancy or menopause unbalance the environment in the vagina. This often also applies during and immediately after menstruation.
IN THE EVENT OF ILLNESS When taking antibiotics, not only harmful bacteria are killed, but also good lactobacilli. This can throw the vaginal flora out of balance.
