Biotin:
Biotin is an essential (vital) vitamin that is important for the metabolism of all body cells, including in connection with cell division. Tissues such as skin and mucous membranes in particular divide particularly quickly and then need biotin for the regulated process of cell division as part of their regeneration. Biotin is usually ingested in sufficient quantities daily through food. However, an increased need for biotin can e.g. B. in smokers, in connection with negative stress, the intake of medication - such as antibiotics - or also during pregnancy. In these situations, taking biotin helps keep the mucous membranes healthy. This includes the vaginal mucosa.
