- Alopexy 50mg/ml skin solution is a medicinal product indicated for use in men in the case of androgenic alopecia (excessive hair loss) of moderate severity. The active substance is minoxidil.
Composition of Alopexy 50mg/ml skin, Minoxidil UK solution:
Active substance: minoxidil (Minoxidilum). 1ml contains 50mg of minoxidil and excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol 96%, purified water.

The drug is indicated for use in certain cases of androgenetic alopecia, i.e. excessive hair loss - of moderate severity. The medicinal product Alopexy 50 mg/ml in the form of a skin solution is intended for use in men. The use of the drug in women is not recommended because in many cases excessive hair appears outside the application sites. The product contains minoxidil as an active substance.

Additional information:
Store the product out of the reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The medicine contains propylene glycol (240mg in one dose (1ml)). The medicine contains ethanol - it may cause irritation and a burning sensation when it gets into the eyes, on wounds, damaged skin, mucous membranes (if this occurs, wash the irritated area under running water). Persistent irritation should be consulted with a doctor. During treatment, the scalp should be protected from the sun (wear hats). Do not swallow. Do not inhale sprayed product. A change in hair color and/or texture has been observed in some people. Before using the drug, consult your doctor and remain under medical supervision during treatment. Do not use simultaneously with other dermatological drugs, e.g. tretinoin, anthralin or betamethasone dipropionate. Do not use on any part of the body other than the scalp.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug. Do not use if you have poor tolerance to 2% minoxidil solution. Do not use if the scalp is damaged. Do not use under 18 years of age or over 65 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding (the drug is not intended for women!).

Very common: hirsutism (excessive hair growth) in areas where the medicine has not been used, especially in women; headaches. Common: local skin reactions at the site of application - local irritation with exfoliation of the epidermis (elimination of dead skin cells), itching, skin redness, dermatitis, dry skin, allergic skin reactions, skin inflammation, acne-like rash, musculoskeletal pain, swelling peripheral (fluid retention in tissues), pain at the injection site, difficulty breathing and depression. Use as directed by your doctor or as recommended on the leaflet. The recommended dose is 1 ml on the treated scalp area twice a day (in the morning - 1 ml and in the evening - 1 ml). Maximum daily dose: 2 ml - regardless of the treated area. Do not increase the dose of the drug or the frequency of application. The duration of treatment depends on the individual response to the drug. The preparation is applied to the skin (product for external use only). Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application. The scalp and hair should be thoroughly dried before using the medicine. Apply the product with your fingertips, starting from the center of the treated skin surface.
