What is ABM?
The ABM was discovered about 30 years ago in the rainforests of Brazil. The local population, which regularly consumed this mushroom, was characterized by extremely robust health. This fungus is now cultivated in Brazil, USA, Japan, Korea and Germany. Of all medicinal mushrooms, the ABM has the highest concentration of beta-glucans (polysaccharides) in its glycoproteins (compounds of polysaccharides and proteins) and regulates the entire immune system. Its ingredients ergosterol (precursor of vitamin D) and sodium pyroglutamate have an anti-carcinogenic effect. Due to its effect as an immune regulator, the ABM exerts a protective function on the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas. Its beta-glucans slow down the absorption of sugar in the intestine. The mushroom has liver-protecting properties.
