Broccoli is a close relative of cauliflower. Like all other types of cabbage, it comes from a wild form that grows primarily on the Mediterranean and west coasts of Europe. As with cauliflower, the thickened buds are eaten. Ingredients of broccoli are:
- Vitamins B1, B2 (heart, muscles)
- Vitamin C (immune defense)
- Vitamin A (eyes, skin)
- Potassium (tissue, muscles)
- Phosphorus (bones, energy balance)
- Calcium (bones, teeth)
- iron (blood formation, respiration)
When preparing broccoli by steaming or boiling, the content is significantly reduced.
Broccoli Capsules contain 250 mg broccoli extract standardized to sulforaphane in a hard gelatine capsule. The daily dose of 500 mg concentrate corresponds to 10 g broccoli. Broccoli is the most important source of sulforaphane glucosinate, which is found in particularly high concentrations in the flower shoots.
These are harvested at around 10cm in length, before the buds open. Sulforaphane acts as a phase 2 protein inducer.

Broccoli extract standardized to sulforaphane. Thanks to a particularly gentle manufacturing process, the raw material retains its natural taste. The gelatine used in the hard gelatine capsules is BSE/TSE-tested pharmaceutical gelatine.
Ingredients:
Broccoli Sprouts Concentrate (50%); Bulking Agent: Mannitol (May have a laxative effect if consumed in excess);
capsule shell: gelatin; Color in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide
Recommended BROCCOLI CAPSULES, broccoli sprouts concentrate dosage:
2 x 1 capsule daily before meals.
