High purity D-(+)-galactose powder. Galactose is a naturally occurring monosaccharide found in milk, dairy products and other foods. Galactose is obtained from a protein-free distillate of whey and lactose using a complex enzymatic process. This ensures that the product is free from unwanted chemical residues. D-(+)-Galactose powder is finely ground and tastes sweet.

Recommended D-GALACTOSE powder 250 g, Galactose dosage:

Consume   6 g twice a day  Galactose powder (= daily dose: 12 g). A level teaspoon corresponds to approx. 3 g. It is recommended to use it for at least 8 - 12 weeks. The powder can be mixed with food according to taste. Due to its relatively sweet taste, galactose is also suitable for sweetening dishes. For optimal absorption, dissolve the powder in 1/2 liter of water or fruit juice.

The recommended consumption quantity must not be exceeded. There are currently no EU recommendations for the daily requirement for galactose.

Caution: Not suitable for people suffering from galactosemia, a rare congenital metabolic disorder. Do not use during pregnancy.
